InitiativeOne Doubles National Team

Posted on 2-18-2021

InitiativeOne has hired 7 new team members in the past 6 months, increasing their national team by over 100%. The increase in staff is in response to the trend of organizations doubling down on retaining and developing their teams through leadership development systems. InitiativeOne offers a master plan of services with Leadership Transformation as the signature service that strengthens individual leaders, enforces healthy team behaviors, and drives positive change within an organization.

InitiativeOne is proud to introduce the following team members:

William Weyenberg joined the team in 2020 as the Accounting and Operations specialist. Weyenberg is a 2020 graduate of St. Norbert College. He is a true “numbers guy” and has begun the work of systematizing accounting practices while supporting sales and operations with reporting and process refinement.

Samantha Doxtator has been hired as the new Client Relations Specialist. She will oversee events and services for the new InitiativeOne event space breaking ground February 2021. Doxtator brings event experience from her work at OnBroadway and was recognized as a 2020 Future 15 Young Professionals Award.

Sarah Robertson has accepted the role of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for InitiativeOne. Her goal is to build relationships with leaders in northeast Wisconsin and beyond. She brings decades of experience in the credit union industry. She has held CEO, HR, and culture roles which creates a foundation of shared experiences and trust with business leaders.

Steve Hayes joins InitiativeOne as a Transformation Leader and will be facilitating services like Leadership Transformation. Hayes is located outside of New Orleans and is an established and successful real estate executive. He is excited to help leaders and organizations dig in for the deep work required for true transformation.

Jenifer Allen has taken on the role of Director of Strategic Engagement. Allen has spent the past 15 years in development roles for Boys and Girls Club of Greater Green Bay, St. Norbert College, and Beloit College. Her ability to map the challenges and goals of an organization to the work that InitiativeOne can deliver has been a game changer for business leaders she’s engaged with.

Regina Woods joined the team at the beginning of 2021. She has an extensive background of leadership development and internal training during her 25 years with Oneida Nation. Woods’ ability to observe and deliver feedback in real time has been a key to her success as a facilitator.

Greg Davidson Laszakovits is the newest member to join the InitiativeOne team. He has spent the last two decades in senior leadership roles for congregations on the east coast and Brazil. Early in his adult life, Laszakovits embraced anti-racism education and training and continues this work today.

Founder and CEO, Dr. Fred Johnson, shares that he is “Humbled by the caliber of leaders we’ve added to our team. Our trajectory for growth over the next 5 years demands this aggressive approach to hiring exceptional leaders with a wide range of skills and experiences.” Johnson notes that the need for additional event space and accompanying InitiativeOne services was accelerated during a year of virtual events and social distancing. Business communities are craving the connection of live events and InitiativeOne will fill that need later this year.
