Allouez Village Band Concert & Collection for Veterans

Join us for our November concert, “Hooked on a Feeling – Pride and Passion”. This concert is our annual tribute to veterans and will feature some of your favorite patriotic concert band music. Our sponsor for the evening is Hansen Family Funeral and Cremation Services. Admission is free and donations will be taken at the door.
The Allouez Village Band is marking its 15th year in partnership with American Legion Post 11’s Veterans Concert collection of items to send to our service people deployed overseas. (FYI, they recently were alerted that an area Reserve Unit will be deploying overseas in November.)
Items needed for overseas packages include small packaged treats, hard candies, personal care items, playing cards and puzzle books, Christmas greetings and items that can be distributed to children (No aerosols or items that can melt please).
The Post will also be providing Christmas gifts to veterans locally. Suggestions for small gift items are hats/caps, gloves and mittens, scarves, books and puzzle books, as well as candies and Christmas greetings.
If you have names of service people or veterans who would like a gift, please contact a representative of American Legion Post 11 when you arrive for the concert on Nov. 18. Thanks in advance for your participation!
