The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park invites you to join waddle on in for the Party for the Penguins, sponsored by the NEW Zoological Society, on Saturday, July 23rd from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Proceeds from this event will support African penguin conservation, with funds raised going directly to the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB).
Guests can enjoy a variety of fun activities throughout the day, including kids’ games and crafts, temporary tattoos, penguin encounters, and more. Stop by the Penguin Merchandise Sales Tent to browse a selection of penguin crafts and gifts, including paintings made by our very own penguins! Penelope the penguin mascot will make an appearance between 11:00am and 1:00pm. Several penguin-themed presentations will take place throughout the day in front of the penguin habitat and in the Education Amphitheater.
