2023 Cellcom Green Bay Marathon – Sunday, May 21st: Course Information

Posted on 5-17-2023

The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon and Half Marathon courses are considered to be fast and flat, by race industry comparisons. The distance events finish in the shadow of Lambeau Field on Mike McCarthy Way between Holmgren Way and Oneida St. with a “tailgate” themed party. The half marathon, marathon, relays and Cellcom 5K all start on Morris Avenue between Holmgren Way and Oneida Street, near the hallowed halls of Lambeau Field.

For the half marathon, the course features tree-lined streets, traveling through Ashwaubenon and Green Bay before a quick lap through Lambeau Field near the end and then on to the finish line for the 13.1 mile course.

The course will be well marked with road marking arrows, cones, barricades, and course directional signs. Route marking arrows are as follow: Orange arrows for the full marathon,  green arrows for the half marathon and Pink for the 5K. All course routes will be staffed by police officials and volunteer course marshals. The busiest of intersections will be under police control. The finish line will close 7 hours after the last distance runner begins at approximately 2:10 pm.
