Civic Symphony of Green Bay Announces Cancellation of April Concert

Posted on 3-19-2020

“We regret to inform you that our April performance has been canceled.”

In recognition of behavioral risk mitigation strategies in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and in light of decisions made by the NCAA, the NBA and other large event hosting organizations as it relates to potential exposure to COVID-19, St. Norbert College is postponing or eliminating large gatherings of people until April 13th.

“As a result, the Civic Symphony of Green Bay, in an abundance of caution, has decided to cancel our “Spring is in the Aire” concert scheduled for April 19th at St. Norbert College. An alternate date is not planned at this time. We regret this decision but we feel it is necessary to protect the health and safety of our musicians and audience members.”

For those of you who purchased tickets, you can either request a full refund from the SNC Box Office or convert your ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation to the Civic Symphony of Green Bay.

Please know that the Civic Symphony’s expenses for conductors and music continue, even if there is no audience.

Because of the many events that are in the process of being rescheduled or changed, you may find a significant delay if you try to contact by phone. You may, at any time, email your request to the SNC box office at: [email protected].
