Civic Symphony of Green Bay Encourages You to Nominate a Volunteer

Posted on 2-04-2021

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2021 WPS Volunteer Awards!

Do you know an exemplary volunteer in our community? Nominate them for the WPS Volunteer Awards!

Last year, one of the Civic Symphony’s own, Paul Grall, was chosen as volunteer of the year in the Arts & Culture category. Paul generously donated his winnings to CSGB, Dudley Birder Chorale and the St. Norbert College Youth Orchestra.

To honor outstanding contributions to our community, the Volunteer Center of Brown County and Wisconsin Public Service encourage individuals and groups to submit nominations for this spring’s 33rd annual WPS Volunteer Awards. Nominations will be accepted until 4 p.m. on February 21st.

“If there was ever a time to hear some inspiration, this is it! We look forward to celebrating all of the wonderful volunteers who make this community a better place!” said Eric Sponholtz, Executive Director – Volunteer Center of Brown County. “We are proud to partner with WPS and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation to celebrate all volunteers and their determination to build strong communities.”

Nominations for the WPS Volunteer Awards can be submitted online at https://buff.ly/3ijZTgG or by emailing a nomination form to [email protected]. All award nominees are eligible to be selected and highlighted through the Volunteer Center of Brown County’s “Volunteer of the Week,” which is featured throughout the year in the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
