Posted on 3-19-2020

Over continued concern and new information being shared regarding COVID-19, CP will be taking the following measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients, while remaining an important community resource.

These measures will be effective starting Monday, March 23rd – Friday,April 3rd:

CP Early Education & Care | WILL REMAIN OPEN

Adult Day Services | WILL REMAIN OPEN
• This includes Green Bay, Fox Cities and Lakeshore locations

Therapy Services | CLOSED EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MARCH 23rd

CP Aquatic Center | CLOSED EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MARCH 23rd
• Registration for the Spring Session will run through Friday, March 20th

After the two weeks are concluded, CP will assess the situation before making additional decisions. Those decisions will be communicated as quickly as possible.

For departments that remain open, CP’s team is taking the following precautions:

Requiring staff to wash hands frequently and thoroughly after contact with others

Practicing social distancing between clients

Requiring staff to use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, if soap and water is not available,
when entering and exiting rooms

Covering nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing

Avoiding touching eyes and face when possible

Avoiding close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms when possible

In addition, CP has reinforced to their staff the importance of disinfecting surfaces after use throughout the day. Surfaces are disinfected again by their professional cleaning company each night.

In the event that a client or staff member becomes ill, CP will require them to stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication.
