Demi came to CP at just about a year old after being diagnosed with Acute Flaccid Myelitis, an infection in her brain stem that left her unable to move from the neck down. A year later, and Demi is making remarkable progress. Working with CP’s occupational, speech and physical therapists, she is now able to move her legs, roll over, and can sit up while assisted. Demi is also talking a lot more!
