Dudley Birder Chorale & Civic Symphony of Green Bay to Present Joint Concert

The Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College and the Civic Symphony of Green Bay will present a joint concert featuring music from movies. The concert, entitled “Choral Chills & Symphonic Scares,” will be held in the Walter Theatre at St. Norbert College on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at 7:00pm. The chorale conducted by Kent Paulsen will perform in the first half, followed by the orchestra conducted by Seong-Kyung Graham in the second half. The concert will conclude with the two ensembles joining forces for a few combined pieces.

The audience will hear recognizable original music from Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who, Phantom of the Opera, Les Choristes (The Chorus), Saving Private Ryan, Fantasia, and Star Wars, as well as other well-known tunes frequently used in numerous movies. There will be a costume contest before the concert and during intermission, with the winners and prizes announced in the second half. Frank Hermans, of Let Me Be Frank Productions, will serve as the evening’s host and lead the audience in a singalong of the Ghostbusters theme.

Tickets are now on sale with pricing for adults ($25), seniors ($20), and students ($15). There is also a livestream ticket ($25) option available for those unable to attend in-person.
