Foundations Partnering With Area Agencies for “Look In – Reach Out” Campaign
Posted on 8-24-2021
Foundations Health & Wholeness is proud to be partnering with Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley, and Catalpa Health on the “Look In. Reach Out.” campaign to encourage community members to consider their own mental wellness and to check in on their loved ones as well.
We all know there a people in our community who are struggling with their mental health and well-being. Mental well-being is a concern for everyone; we’re all coping with a number of changes and emotions.
Foundations wants help foster these conversations, and also let people know there are resources available if they need professional help.
Foundations’ President and CEO, Ryan Good, shared things to watch for that may indicate someone we care about may be struggling:
“Number one, isolating. Where your friend, your family member isn’t doing the things they used to do regularly. Where they show a loss of interest, maybe less connection in the relationships with individuals. Maybe sleeping more often, eating more or less than they usually do. Just those common things associated with anxiety and depression, maybe a little bit more worry, as well.”
Are you willing to help spread this important message in our community by putting a Look In Reach Out sign in your yard or business? Please reach out to Jenn at[email protected].
