The COVID-19 pandemic is having an impact on all of us, including our children.

HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital invites children and parents to document this time in history, together, with the 2020 COVID-19 Time Capsule, available now for free at www.stvincentchildrenshospital.org/capsule. Just visit the link, click “download your copy here,” print, and you’re ready to begin!

The 2020 COVID-19 Time Capsule features 12 black-and-white pages (ready for coloring!) that prompt children to share feelings, memories and experiences – including ways they are communicating with family and friends, how they are celebrating special milestones and what they are most thankful for. There are also spaces to draw pictures, and display photographs and news clippings.

“The time capsule offers a unique opportunity for parents and children of all ages to connect, be creative and preserve memories during this unprecedented time,” says Dr. Thomas Huffer, Executive Medical Director at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital and pediatrician at Prevea Health. “It will be something they can look back upon in years to come.”

Parents can find a variety of other resources, including podcasts and wellness tips designed to help families navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, at www.prevea.com.
