Golden House Accepting Nominations for 2020 Show of Strength – Women of Strength Awards

Posted on 9-03-2020

Golden House is now accepting nominations for their second annual, now virtual, Show of Strength – Women of Strength Awards. These awards recognize women who are leaders, philanthropists, community activists and positive forces in our community.

Those who nominate a Woman of Strength are encouraged to raise or sponsor $500 on their behalf, to continue the mission of Golden House. On a daily basis, Golden House provides security and programs for those working towards a life, free of domestic violence, in hopes of equipping them with the courage and strength our awards recipients showcase daily. If you are interested in nominating an outstanding woman, please visit bit.ly/SOS2020NominationForm.

On October 29th, 2020 Golden House will honor these women in our community. Stay tuned to Golden House’s Facebook page to see more about the nominees before the big event and other ways to get involved with our virtual Show of Strength event.

Golden House Wishlist Update: This week, Golden House is asking for new plain white t-shirts of all sizes. Due to COVID-19, they are trying to keep all donations contact-less. Donated items can be dropped off between the two front doors. Make sure to fill out a donation slip so that they can send you a proper receipt and thank you. Thank you for your support!
