Golden House Welcomes New Board Members

Golden House is excited to announce the addition of three talented new members to their Board of Directors, each bringing a commitment to serve and a dedication to mission.

Tana Koss, MSW, CAPSW

Tana Koss

A native of Northern Wisconsin, she has spent most of her life in Green Bay.  She earned both a Bachelor and Master’s in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. Tana has 25 years of experience in providing and/or administering emergency human services. Most of this time has been within 24/7 programs working with people who have experienced significant trauma and who may also face incredible unmet basic needs including work in Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Suicide, Homelessness, and Incarceration.

 

 

Kathryn Pritzl

As Marketing and PR Manager at Breakthrough in Green Bay, Kathryn is responsible for content strategy and development, public relations, and product positioning and competitive analysis.

Outside of work, shehelps not-for-profit organizations with their marketing strategies and serves at various events in the community. Kathryn enjoys identifying areas of improvement and opportunity, devising an astute strategy, and executing initiatives to find a better way forward.

 

Kristin Laursen

Kristin Laursen has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, strategic planning and leadership. She currently serves as the Director of Marketing + Creative at Elevate97, dedicated to driving collaboration and innovation with her marketing and graphic design teams.  

Kristin is passionate about community and sharing her talent with organizations that help support and strengthen the communities they serve.

Golden House

The mission of Golden House is to provide safety and support for victims of domestic abuse while leading efforts to end domestic violence in our community.

Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence program serving victims in Brown County. As a private, non-profit founded in 1979, we respond to the needs of victims and educate our community on the prevalence, effects, and prevention of domestic abuse.

Our free and confidential services include:

  • Safety: Safety Planning, Crisis Counseling, Restraining Orders, & More
  • Support: Mental Health Therapy, Support Groups, Parent Mentoring, & More
  • Housing: Emergency Shelter, Flexible Safe Home Support, & More
  • Prevention Education: Healthy Relationships, Childhood Domestic Violence, & More
