Groundbreaking for $500 Million Addition to Georgia-Pacific Broadway Mill

(GREEN BAY, WI – JULY 18,2022) – Georgia-Pacific will officially break ground for a $500 million addition to its Green Bay Broadway Mill, nicknamed “Project Cinco.” This event takes place on Wednesday, July 20th, beginning at 10:00am, at 1919 South Broadway Street, in Green Bay.

Announced last December, the new papermaking complex will encompass a new paper machine, plus associated converting lines, buildings and infrastructure. It will also generate 100-plus new jobs in addition to the more than 800 employees already working at the mill.

Senior GP leaders and the Team Cinco partner-companies will be attending and speaking starting at 10:00am.

A groundbreaking photo and video opportunity will take place starting at approximately 10:30am, after the formal program concludes. People will be available for interviews directly after this, at approximately 10:45am.
