Melissa Skalecki Named Wisconsin CASA Executive Director

The Wisconsin CASA Association board of directors is proud to share Melissa (Michel) Skalecki has been promoted from Interim Executive Director to Executive Director of the child advocacy organization.

Hired in 2023, Skalecki oversaw the establishment of CASA of Marathon County and CASA for Kids becoming an independent 501(c)3 in her first year with the organization.

Wisconsin CASA also welcomes Katie Talken-Huether as a Grant Project Manager. Talken-Huether brings over 10 years of non-profit experience to the role with a background in grant writing, fundraising, event planning and strategic direction.

“Katie has a huge passion for the work non-profits provide communities, especially ones that focus on youth, so this is the perfect role for her. It’s been fun working together already and I know there’s a lot we’ll accomplish as an organization with her on the team,” said Skalecki.
