November is “Adopt a Senior Pet” Month

Throughout the U.S.A., various animal shelters, rescues, and animal protection organizations are promoting “Adopt a Senior Pet Month” during November.

Sadly, many senior dogs, cats, and other pets are either abandoned or surrendered to shelters for no reasons other than their ages.  These animals are still “good fits” for many families, and have a lot of love left to give to the right “forever” owners.

Here in the Greater Green Bay Area, there are several locations where you can adopt your next Senior Pet. For your convenience, some are listed below:

Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay Campus

Happily Ever After

Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary

Lucky 7 Dog Rescue

When you go and meet your new fur-friend, please let the shelter know that the Green Bay News Network sent You!
