“Domestic Violence Awareness Month” ~ Only 20 Purple Porch Project Kits Left!

Posted on 10-14-2021

The month of October is a very important month for Golden House. This month is Domestic Violence Awareness Month or DVAM.

Why is it important? DVAM is a chance for anyone and everyone – victims, survivors, advocates, supporters, and more to unite in the important work of ending domestic violence! This is a time of solidarity and support.

Golden House has so much going on this month for clients as well as the public – to help continue to spread the word of Golden House, as well as to help them raise necessary funding for victims and survivors.

So, What’s going on in October?

Each week in October, Golden House has partnered with a local restaurant for a fundraiser! Each night, the specific restaurant will graciously donate a part of their sales to Golden House for every individual who purchases during the timeframe. Enjoy a delicious meal and do good at the same time!
