On Broadway, Inc. Wants Your Input on Future Public Market

On Broadway, Inc. (OBI) has proposed the creation of a public market in downtown Green Bay’s Broadway District. The preliminary concept plan includes 42,965 square feet with room for approximately 20 businesses, a community event space, demo kitchen, dining area, and additional tenant space. Vendor prospects will include a mix of prepared and fresh food.

In other communities across the world, public markets have proven to be catalytic projects for new development. There is a three-part vision for this project that calls for the development of adjacent properties with housing, commercial space, parking infrastructure, and pedestrian friendly amenities.

The market is expected to attract nearly one million regional visitors with its adjacent location to the Farmers’ Market on Broadway that currently draws 250,000 visitors annually, and nearby Lambeau Field and Titletown District.
