Red Cross of Wisconsin: Please Give Blood Now; Before the Holidays

Throughout the busy holiday season, travel, seasonal illness and weather often disrupt the ability of the American Red Cross to collect the blood they need for patients. They’re asking donors to set aside time to give now to ensure hospital shelves are stocked with blood through the end of 2022.

As a Thank-You, those who come to give blood through December 15th, will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card (courtesy of Amazon). Those who come to give blood December 16th-January 2nd, will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross t-shirt; while supplies last.

It’s important for donors − especially type O blood donors and platelet donors − to give now to ensure hospitals have the blood they need through the end of this year. Please schedule your appointment by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800 733-2767).
