Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
This Saturday is always the last one in November, falling between November 24th and November 30th.
First observed in the United States on November 27th, 2010, it is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local. Small Business Saturday is a registered trademark of American Express.
Here in the Greater Green Bay Area, Small Business has long been the mainstay of the business landscape, providing jobs, products, and services to our growing communities.
We encourage you to “Shop Small” this Saturday at our Green Bay News Network Member Businesses.
