St. Norbert College’s Knights on the Fox free summer concert series has been recognized as one of the top outdoor concert venues in the country. Knights on the Fox, held every summer along the banks of the Fox River on the St. Norbert campus, placed fifth in the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest in 2023.
10Best editors teamed up with a panel of experts to nominate 20 of the top outdoor concert series events, and then the public voted for their favorites during a four-week voting period.
“St. Norbert College is extremely proud to finish in the top five in the country,” said Annika Osell, community engagement manager at St. Norbert. “Knights on the Fox is a special series that members of our community look forward to each summer, and we are so thankful to our sponsors for their support in making these beloved concerts possible.”
The popular outdoor summer concert series Knights on the Fox will return for its 20th season on the St. Norbert College campus beginning in July. The annual concert series features live music in a casual atmosphere along the banks of the Fox River and it is free and open to the public.
Concertgoers can carry in their own picnic or purchase sandwiches, snacks, and beverages at Phil’s — St. Norbert’s on-campus restaurant located in the Campus Center. Picnicking begins at 5pm, followed by concerts from 6:30-8pm. Concerts will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Go to http://www.snc.edu/go/kotf for updates on the status of the performance by 3pm.
The docks of the Thompson marina will be open for those who wish to come by boat. Parking is available in the lots off of Third Street, with handicapped parking in the lot near Old St. Joseph Church. Lawn chairs and blankets are suggested. Follow the signs to find your way to the parking lots.
