The Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II, pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Goldsboro, N.C., will present the Spring 2024 Norman and Louis Miller Lecture in Public Understanding on Thursday, April 11th, at 7:00pm at Old St. Joseph Church in De Pere.

Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II

The lecture, “We Are Called to Be a Movement,” is free and open to the public, though tickets are required to reserve a seat.

The Norman and Louis Miller Lecture in Public Understanding was established in 1993 by the Norman Miller Family Foundation to honor Norman’s brother, Louis Miller, who died in 1989. When Norman died in 2008, his name was added to the lecture series, which promotes unity, communication and tolerance among different cultures, religions, ethnicities and traditions.
