“We dedicate ourselves to ongoing education in the Art of Medicine and a careful review of valid scientific and medical discoveries so that we may deliver the best possible medical care for you and your family. As we treat the whole person, body, soul, and spirit, we promote daily health habits that nurture these three aspects of your God-given personhood.  We are thrilled to be able to offer you personal, traditional, faith-based family medicine at our new clinic.”

Traditional, personal family medicine is Dr. Stillwell’s lifelong passion. Dr. Stillwell graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1985, and completed his Family Practice Residency at St. Michael Hospital.

Family Physician for 34 Years

“I have been a family physician for 34 years. I started out in a small practice in Sheboygan, there was a lot of continuity of care, I did obstetrics at the time and we always delivered our own pregnant mothers, so we were kind of on-call 24 hours a day, so to speak, said Dr. Stillwell, “What I’ve seen in 30 years is small medical practices getting swallowed up by large groups, and eventually ending up in a large corporate healthcare system or hospital run system. In any case everything has gone ‘big’, and the personal touch from the doctor-patient relationship is missing or lacking. Or, to make things worse, there is often a corporate overlay that interferes with the doctor- patient relationship as well, that should never happen in the examining room.”

“As a result”, Stillwell added, “my wife, who is an RN, and I have started an independent medical practice. We want to recapture some of the old-time, Hometown family physician relationships that existed between Doctors and patients 30 and 40 and 50 years ago. I think that’s the best ‘medicine’ for patients, and I also feel that the practice of medicine in general will be better served if more doctors become independent again.”

Thus, with his extensive experience in private practice, Dr. Stillwell is now offering traditional hometown medicine in a solo practice setting.

Dr. Stillwell is the proud father of 10 children. He loves hiking, biking, and woodworking. He is also active in his local parish, Ss. Peter and Paul and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dr. Stillwell is board certified by American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Stillwell’s wife, Cindy, a registered nurse, assists in the care of patients and the operation of the clinic. She is also a Lactation Consultant and is fluent in Spanish.

She brings to the practice her faith, compassion, patience, and understanding learned from raising their 10 children.

Direct Primary Care

Direct Primary Care is a new model of primary care. For an affordable monthly fee, you’ll receive full access to a suite of medical services.

“We believe the best medical treatment comes from one-on-one interaction, so we’re eliminating the middle man and inviting you into our family.”

“Our clinic does not take commercial insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. Nor are we a replacement for health insurance. We recommend you maintain your commercial insurance, Health Share, or Medicare/Medicaid policies for emergencies, hospitalization, or specialized care.”
