Summer Zoo & Adventure Camps Announced

It’s never too early to start thinking about summer! That’s why the staff at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is so excited to release the 2023 topics and schedule for their summer camp programs for children ages 6 to 16. Registration opens Tuesday, January 17th, at 6:00pm.

This year, the Zoo is once again offering two types of summer zoo camp programs. Single-day Summer Safari experiences for 1st through 4th graders, where students may register for up to two different dates with different topics, and two-day Summer Zoo Camp experiences for 5th through 7th graders, where students attend two consecutive dates with the same topic.

The Adventure Park will also offer a variety of summer camp programs, including single-day Adventure Camps and Junior Guide Camps, as well as multi-date Trekker Camps and Explorer Camps. Programs are available for kids ages 6 to 16, and both Zoo and Adventure Park Members will receive discounts.

But…If you can’t wait for Summer, You can still register for Creature Camp!

Creature Camps are full of hands-on “edZOOcational” fun, focused on animals. They still have a few spots remaining in all three of this winter’s program dates: January 16th, Friday February 3rd, and February 17th.

Creature Camps are designed for all elementary-aged students in grades 1st through 4th, and they’re open to public, private, and homeschooled students. Each student can attend up to two dates – once in January and once in February. The cost is just $40 per child per day and Zoo Pass Members receive a 20% discount.
