Temporary Change in Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge Operating Schedule May 28th & 29th
The Green Bay Public Works Department is announcing a temporary change to the drawbridge operating schedule and temporary lane closures of the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge (Dousman and Main Streets) for inspection activities. Mariners shall provide a two-hour advance notice for bridge operation directly to the Bridge Tender on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, and Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, from 8:00am to 3:00pm each day. Motorists shall be advised the bridge will remain open to vehicular traffic with single-lane closures occurring during this timeframe, which may cause back-ups.

Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge at Mile 1.58 over the Fox River at Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge (Dousman Street and Main Street over the Fox River).
Single-lane closures in each direction along Main Street will occur from North Broadway to North Washington Street.
No detour will be posted.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. All lane and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists should anticipate back-ups, use caution while driving through the work zone, and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
