The Automobile Gallery & Event Center Names New Executive Director

And New Director of Events & Administration

The Automobile Gallery and Event Center in Green Bay is excited to announce the appointment of Darrel Burnett as Executive Director and Kathryn Gardner as Director of Events & Administration. The two have worked together for years on multiple projects for The Automobile Gallery & Event Center and will continue to expand on the many educational, community and special events as they strive to become one of the finest destinations in the nation.

Darrel Burnett is a passionate collector of automobiles and has been involved with the collector car hobby on a national level for 25 years. Joining The Automobile Gallery & Event Center family is the culmination of a relationship that dates back to our beginning. “I have been privileged to be involved with The Automobile Gallery & Event Center since its inception,” Mr. Burnett reflected, “I have known and admired our founder Wm. Red Lewis and this team for many years. The Automobile Gallery & Event Center stands among the finest automotive museums in the country and I look forward to helping build on that great tradition.” 

Kathryn Gardner, in her new role as Director of Events & Administration, will focus on expanding the number and types of innovative events The Automobile Gallery & Event Center has become known for and will work closely with Mr. Burnett to bring even greater exposure to The Gallery and northeastern Wisconsin on a local, regional and national level. “Seeing increased community attendance and involvement in Gallery events these past few years has been extremely gratifying to me, personally, and witnessing tremendous growth and support with growing numbers of visitors from within the state and nationally as well”, states Ms. Gardner, “I look forward to continuing this growth and expanding our programming, and I welcome Darrel to our team.”

A full schedule of events is underway for the holiday season and planning is in progress for a full calendar of events in the new year.
