UW-Green Bay’s Peregrine Falcon Cam is Back Online!

Posted on 3-23-2023

The Peregrine Falcon cam from UW-Green Bay’s Cofrin Library is back online. The first egg was laid on March 20th last year, and on March 18th the year before. We could be just days away from the first egg of 2023!

Mimi, the nesting female for the last seven years, has not made an appearance yet. It’s possible that she’s still around, but she will likely not be the nesting female this year. She appears to have been replaced with an unbanded (and currently unnamed) female.

The current nesting male is Leopold. If he stays, this will be his third nesting season. He hatched from this nest box in 2019.

You can view the Falcon Cam’s live feed HERE.
