Village of Howard Selling Used Street Signs & U.S. Flags to Benefit Veterans Memorial Fund

The Village of Howard offers used street signs and U.S. flags for sale to the public when those items are replaced. Flags are dry cleaned, and all proceeds benefit the N.E.W. Veterans Memorial fund.

The village is in the final year of a multi-year program to replace existing street name signs with new signs that are
easier to read and comply with new standards established by the Federal Highway Administration.

The sale allows residents to legally purchase a street name sign and at the same time contribute to the veteran’s memorial fund. The signs will be sold through the Public Works Department on a first come, first serve basis.

1 sign = $10
2 signs = $15
3 signs = $20
4 signs = $25
5 signs = $30
