Creature Camp is Back

Need a fun, educational place for your elementary-aged student to spend an upcoming day off from school? Look no further: Creature Camps are back! Our first Creature Camp of 2022 is scheduled for Monday, January 17th – Martin Luther King Jr. Day, when local schools will be closed. Creature Camp includes educational presentations & conversations, up-close encounters with live animals, games and/or crafts, and time spent outdoors, visiting the animals. Programs run from 8:35 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Zoo Pass Members receive a 20% discount. Registration is open now; Learn More.

Summer Zoo Camp Update

June and July may be a ways away, but we’re already looking forward to the summer! Both the NEW Zoo and the Adventure Park will be hosting summer camp programs for elementary and middle school students this year. Schedules will be released in early March, with registration starting the week of March 7th. To ensure you don’t miss out on any Zoo Camp and Adventure Camp related news, you can join our mailing list found on the bottom of our Zoo Camp Info page.

Half-Price Admission

Don’t forget that zoo admission is half-price for the months of January and February. This discounted price is available only at the door and applies to daily regular adult, senior, and child admission tickets.

The winter season is the perfect time to visit and enjoy that “zoo-to-yourself” feeling. Many of the animals are active in cold weather – and some (like the otters and lions) even love to play in the snow!

The NEW Zoo is open seven days per week, 365 days a year, with current hours being 9:00am to 4:00pm. Learn More!
