Wisconsin Department of Transportation Seeking Public Feedback on HWY 29 Resurfacing Project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking public feedback on the below design proposal for construction on WIS 29 in Brown County. The purpose of this outreach is to obtain your input on the identified needs and proposed improvements along WIS 29 between the west county line and County J in Brown County.

Project location

WIS 29 between the west county line and County J in the towns of Pittsfield and Oneida and the villages of Howard and Hobart, Brown County, Wis. (See photo accompanying this article.

Project need

The purpose of the project is to improve the deteriorating pavement, extend the roadway’s service life and upgrade other roadway deficiencies.

Proposed Improvements​

WisDOT is proposing a resurface-level improvement project in the eight mile work zone.
