YMCA of Greater Green Bay Launches New Program: Inclusion Swim Lessons

Posted on 8-24-2023

The Y’s New Adapted Aquatics and Inclusion Swim Lessons Program aims to cater to the requirements of people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities, regardless of their swimming proficiency.

Novices will cultivate a sense of ease with underwater exploration, learn safe methods of pool entry and exit, master body positioning and control, and refine their water movement.

More experienced individuals will concentrate on enhancing their strokes to boost endurance and fluidity in aquatic environments.

All participants will receive personalized instruction, allowing them to work on their skills individually with a dedicated instructor.
